I believe that thomas couldn’t help his feelings for Teresa even though he tried to not. Teresa is not selfish, she tried to save the gladers because she thought WCKD could find a cure and they just didn’t believe it and she wanted to help and do what was right, she realized WCKD wasn’t really good so she tried to escape it but she was kind of trapped. Also she risked her life to save thomas and she could’ve jumped but she felt guilty and didn’t. If you think about it, her whole purpose to love was for thomas. She couldn’t leave without knowing he was okay. And thomas was the only one who seemed to forgive Teresa after betraying them, he still loved and cared about her, just as newt said. I can write a whole essay as to why newtmas is just not a good ship and this is the reason thomesa is.

Imagine being in Teresa's shoes. She had to watch her mother slowly become a crank and do gruesome things to injure herself while being chained in their house while Teresa watched. To then being chosen to find a cure for everyone, so that no one would ever have to go through what she went through. I completely understand both sides, she played a part in the death and tortures of so many kids in the maze but she understood sacrifice. To save the future, she needed to stomach watching/sacrificing people lose their lives. I never liked Brenda, in the books she was also part of WICKED (i know she hated them but still) and lied to Thomas. Their relationship felt forced because Thomas after being dr*gged mistook Brenda for Terease. "You're not her." When I tell you I was kicking and screaming, its the truth. Brenda and Thomas' relationship should have remained allies nothing more because I feel that Thomas would have trouble opening his heart from Teresa's betrayal and they had finally found the safe haven. My man needs time (even then I still wouldn't have liked it)

I don't really understand why PPL don't like Teresa, she did what she thought was right(the so-called traitor ☹️)well whoever even later Thomas forgive her...I really wish that they had a happy ending they deserve it 😭..and about Brenda I think the movies did good by not ending Thomas with Brenda cauz thought out the series Brenda was just a friend to Thomas nothing more but for Teresa it was different. They both really love eachother and we can't disagree in that😭🤍

Idk why everyone hates Teresa, she was trying to save everyone and not just herself. And she was willing to sacrifice her friends for it, I don’t think that makes her the bad guy. Without here they all would have died anyway

From our birth on Mother Earth we have been taught to stay honest, fair and kind to each other, no harm, no assault - and always stretch helping hand to others who are in trouble/misery and to sustain other good principles of Humanity. I would nominate this movie for the very best awards of our non-perfect World Society. Bravissimo!!! - to this handful of bright actors (including of course! robot-barmen!) who managed to create such a deep story and to keep you glued to the screen - until the very last scene...
